Man and nature on stage for the vintage Corne 2015, designed by Salvatore Santaniello.

By on September 28th, 2020

As first vintage product for the Winery Le Corne, Corne 2015 is like a “premiére” staging only two actors: man and nature.

This organic winery near Bergamo takes its name from the calcareous rock that forms the subsoil of Monte di Grumello, “Corna”.  Like a stage, this rock welcomes the wine and the man: the two protagonists of this act. The illustration on the label conceptually represents this image through an amphitheater, and it takes its inspiration from an imposing semi-circular rock wall located at the foot of the vineyard. This structure in fact is particularly useful for water drainage and was built with stones retrieved from the reclamation of the vineyards. A Natural amphitheater.  The design recreates the perspectives of this impressive structure, enhancing it with golden details and a rounded die cut. The result is an incredible, hard to miss on the shelf.

The label is printed on Arconvert’s Ispira Nero Mistero, a pitch-black paper with a beautiful soft-touch finish.

The Ispira collection by ManterTM offers four different natural self-adhesive papers made with pure chlorine free cellulose (E.C.F.) and FSCTM certified that, thanks to their special surface treatment, allow an excellent printing performance even in case of very complex graphic projects. Combined with the Ultra WS treatment on the front label, which avoids the formation of wrinkles and reduces the absorption of water on the surface of the paper, these premium papers are the optimal solution for the design and printing of original and innovative labels.
