Casa Valduga awarded with Gold at the Vinalies Internationales with its 130 Brut Blanc de Blanc, a sparkling wine product of tradition and innovation.
“Before making two bottles of wine, make one, but make it good.”
This is Casa Valduga’s philosophy, a winery whose ancient roots go back to 1875 in the North of Italy, the year where the first members of the Valduga family left their homeland to undertake the difficult and challenging journey all the way to Brazil. There in the Vale dos Vinhedos (Valley of Vineyards) they cultivated the first grapevines, giving root to the legacy of one of Brazil’s most renowned winemakers.
Four generations and 140 years later, family patriarch Luiz Valduga efforts to invest in modern techniques and technologies while keeping faith to the family’s traditions grew the acknowledgment of Casa Valduga as one of the most highly regarded vineyards in Brazil, a benchmark of excellence.
These are the values that are at the basis of the Brut 130. A product created to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the Valdugas arrival in Brazil. Brut Blanc de Blanc, together with Blanc de Noir, is a sparkling wine presenting the most elegant expression of its variety. Made exclusively with Chardonnay grapes from special harvests, using the traditional method, Blanc du Blanc remains in yeast autolysis for 36 months.
Its premium high-quality was finally confirmed by the Gold award at Vinalies Internationales, the French international wine competition that considered one of the most prestigious competitions in the wine world.
This precious label is printed on Arconvert’s Constellation Jade Raster Ultra WS, a self-adhesive paper that, thanks to its special embossed finish, emanates a very particular shine and reflects different shades depending on the light inclination. Since ever, it is the favorite choice of the most renowned Champagne producers. This premium paper instills a luxurious feeling without the need of too many embellishments, like here where the golden details alone create a high-class image. Combined with the Ultra WSTM treatment, which acts as a barrier ensuring greater adaptability and stability of the label on the bottle, this paper is the perfect fit for white wines, sparkling and rosé.
