Caprisius Gin bottles the true natural spirit of Capri, an incredible design that plays with transparencies and dazzling effects.

The Caprisius Gin branding project by MAD13 creative room for Limited Capri was born from the desire of expressing the parfums and flavours of Capri’s island. To bottle the spirit of a magical place, where under a burning sun the blue and white of crashing waves meet sharp, porous cliffs.
This project takes inspiration from a mixture of tradition and innovation, from shapes and colours, so emblematic of the Capri’s style.
For Caprisius Gin Mad13 studied a logo that strongly recalls to this territory, fresh and modern, based on transparencies, on the colour of the sea and its reflexes, from here also the idea of a double label.
Both the front label and the neck label are printed on Arconvert’s Sirio Pearl Ice White, a natural FSCTM certified paper characterized by a special pearlescent and metallised finishing, perfect to represent the shimmering and glittering of the water surface under the noon sun.
The use of tactil varnish and silver hot foil wisely enhances this dazzling effect.
The back label instead has a double function; classic back label on one side, special counter-label on the other, a technique aimed to bring out the front label by using a lens effect through a texture that reminds the sea of Capri.
Printed with HP Indigo technology on OPP TC Clear Gloss, this back label underwent several passages, starting first with a CMYK layer, then white, CMYK again and finally a silver hot foil.
