The Spicers – Fedrigoni Top Award 2019’s exhibition tour in Australia with three events in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.
The event was a celebration of all winners and finalists from the 2019 Fedrigoni Top Award, a biannual event aiming to highlight high-prestige printing projects (all printing techniques are welcome!) using Fedrigoni and Fabriano brand special papers and Manter brand pressure-sensitive labels by Arconvert.
On exhibit were a number of wonderful creations from the categories of Publishing, Corporate Identity, Labels and Packaging. Along with the new additions to the Spicers Wine & Gourmet Companion.
Among those the winners of the Label category. First place to the Valori collection designed by Spazio di Paolo, a line of organic wines inspired by the relationship between Man and Nature. On the podium’s second step the new EVO Oil labels of Frantoio Converso designed by Studio errennezeta; labels that trace back in time to family’s traditions and go back over three generations of olive growers with a lively design, bright colours and confidence. Bronze medal to an Australian project by Voice Design – The Old Bloke and the Three Young Blondes, four labels overlayed to create a final result with a magnificent 3D impact printed by MCC Australia for d’Arenberg.
The event was attended by over 50 students from different design schools in Melbourne, and at least 140 guests from the design and printing communities specializing in brand communication and wine labels.
Being one of the judges of the Top Award, special guest Emilio Roccioletti of Erd Studio shared his experience and encouraged everyone to join the next Top Award 2021.
