Arconvert will be presenting its inestimable Moonlight in a preview at Packaging Innovations London 2019.
On 20 July 1969, a historical milestone occurred: Neil Armstrong became the first man to set foot on the Moon. His now-famous words were: “That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind.” This memorable event was not only influential for space research but also had a huge impact on popular culture due to the perpetual influence on our earth the Moon has eternally had.
The Moon not only influences culture. It is also always present during the practice of night harvesting, a worldwide practice that’s increasingly the norm for harvesting grapes. It results in better wine, lower energy costs and greater efficiency. Night-time harvest can provide fruit that retains significantly better internal and external quality: sugars, acids, flavour compounds, colour, firmness etc. Night harvesting began as early as 1970 or 1971, just a couple of years later after the “giant leap for mankind”.
Humankind are also influenced by the Moon. Artists such as poets, writers and painters etc have always taken inspiration from gazing up at the same Moon wherever or in whatever time zone they may be in the world.
Inspired by the Moon´s importance throughout aeons of time and its enduring influence on into the future, Arconvert pays tribute in an homage to the Moon with the creation of a new paper, Arconvert´s Moonlight.
Moonlight FSCTM Certified is an uncoated paper produced with wood-free primary pulp from responsible sources and a small percentage of synthetic fibers. The colour is a natural white shade and the texture has a pleasant vellum finish featuring high printing versatility. Moonlight´s most particular characteristic is a special technology that provides an elegant watermark effect with blind hot foil stamping. Moreover, the paper high substance makes it perfect for premium product labels featuring embossing or debossing finish. Combined with the brand new Arconvert’s permanent acrylic adhesive SH-9020TM this distinctive self-adhesive paper provides a perfect label adhesion to the bottle.
In bright sunlight, at Packaging Innovations 2019 the visitors will also find a preview of the self-adhesive paper Moonlight – just one of the innovations that Arconvert will be presenting at the upcoming edition of LabelExpo Europe 2019.
Packaging Innovations will be held at the Olympia London on the 11th and 12th September 2019.
Visitors can find Arconvert, together with its parent company Fedrigoni, at the Stand F7. During these two days Arconvert will be presenting its new self-adhesive materials especially designed for the premium product labels.
