Komuna is a very special winery next to the National Park of Fruska Gora, in Serbia.   Apart from the 18 hectares of vineyards, there are a further 154 hectares of orchards with quinces, plums, apricots, pears, etc from which the owners are also producing spirits and brandy in addition to wines.

A love of the outdoor life was the inspiration that led to the birth of this winery.  To escape from the long hours of a demanding career and to enjoy family time.  The owners, two well-known construction managers from Russia, left their long and satisfying careers to start a completely new life turning from construction work colleagues to vineyard partners as co-owners of Komuna.

To transmit this idea of outdoor life and nature, the designers from Marko Jankovic Studio have created a very special label.  The Rajnski Rizling is an organic wine made from the typical vine of Fruska Gora, the Kopjar.  With the bouquet of citrus, lemon and lime, this wine has a bird as the protagonist of the label design project.  In fact, all the Komuna winery labels are inspired by very rare bird species, that live around the National Park.  Each wine is a tribute to one special bird.

The labels are printed on the self-adhesive paper Acquerello Bianco, produced by Arconvert.  It is a pure ECF pulp paper, felt-marked paper with the Ultra WS treatment.  The label, embellished with screen printing inks and gold hot foils, is printed by Crveno: a company specialising in printing high-quality adhesive labels.
