Le Corne is a dynamic winemaking reality, where everyone shares the philosophy that “we are what we drink”. The winery is characterized by this vision, always paying careful attention when it comes to raw materials and production.

To celebrate Donizetti, a renowned composer from Bergamo (Italy), Le Corne winery decided to honor him with this special limited-edition of Pinot Noir. The design of this bottle, created by Salvatore Santaniello, retraces to the life of Gaetano Donizetti. The 2018 special edition is inspired by the sign of the Carlo Goldoni theater in Venice, the theater where the composer staged, in 1818, the premiere of the opera “Enrico di Borgona” and “Una Follia”.

The label is printed on the self-adhesive paper, produced by Arconvert, Tintoretto Black Pepper Ultra WS. It is a natural, pure chlorine-free (ECF) cellulose paper that is felt-marked and pulp-coloured. Thanks to the synergy with the parent company Fedrigoni, Arconvert is able to offer the widest range of colored papers in the pulp, which allows eliminating definitively the unsightly problem of the edge and the white back of the label.

The label is embellished with two gold hot-foils, one gloss and one matt, that create a special aged effect, adding mystery and uniqueness to this special edition wine label.
