COTONE BIANCO HIGHLIGHTS THE AUTHENTICITY AND ELEGANCE OF THE VELKÁ SLÍPKA WINE
The Velká Slípka wine was created by a group of 54 winegrowers from Velke Bilovice, a town located in the heart of the Czech Republic’s wine growing region. The producers decided to use the symbol of a hen as the brand’s image, since it is the name with which the inhabitants of the area are fondly known. Therefore, a central and significant portion of the wine’s new label is dedicated to a graphic representation of a hen.
In order to create the label, a self-adhesive paper produced by Arconvert was used: Manter Cotone Bianco Ultra WS, a tree-free paper that has a low environmental impact since it is made with 100% cotton fibres, an annually-renewable plant. The Ultra WS and anti-mould treatments ensure the label is resistant to condensation, moisture and direct contact with ice. Due to the composition of the natural raw material fibres, small impurities and tonal variations may appear on Cotone Bianco, highlighting the unique character of the self-adhesive material, the label, and hence the wine.
Etiflex has refined the design project of the label by using elegant gold hot foil, a transparent micro foil and micro embossing. In particular, the outline of the hen is made up of small illustrations from local folklore that stand out on Cotone Bianco’s delicate surface, almost as if they were lace embroidered by an experienced craftsman.
The elegant finishes and visual references to the native culture perfectly reflect the values of this sophisticated wine, which is firmly rooted in the land where it is made.
