“TO BEER OR NOT TO BEER”: ARCONVERT PROMOTES THE IMPORTANCE OF PACKAGING THROUGH THE NEW “BEST LABEL” CONTEST
Enemy of the conventional and stereotypes, Arconvert’s aim is to unleash the creativity and originality of label designers and 4.0 breweries by promoting the new Solobirra 2019 “Best Label” competition, of which it is a technical partner. The “Best Label” competition was organised as part of the 43rd edition of Expo Riva Hotel 2019, a prestigious trade fair dedicated to the HORECA sector, which will be held in Riva del Garda from 3 to 6 February 2019. By means of this competition, Riva del Garda – Fierecongressi S.p.A. and Arconvert aim to raise brewers’ awareness about the significant influence that brand image and packaging have on the consumer’s choice. After all, a quality beer deserves a quality label. Created specifically for the Expo Riva Hotel, Solobirra is a project set up to ensure products achieve the visibility they deserve and to promote the true culture of craft beer. This event, which offers tastings, training sessions and seminars, will host the first edition of the “Best Label” competition. Craft beer breweries, beer brands, contract breweries, brewpubs, graphic design and communication studios, designers and label manufacturers have until 15 December 2018 to enter the competition. A jury of experts will reward the label with the best design according to a set of criteria, such as the originality of the design and its communicative value, the quality of the graphic composition, communicative and project coherence and, last but not least, the choice and quality of the support on which it is printed.
