The brand image of the wines selected from Bodegas Murviedro conveys the character that Bulldog Studio reflected in La Casa de la Seda. The fine pattern inspired by the ancient fabrics made in Requena is once again stamped over black on the Sericis wine (meaning “silky” in Latin). Both the aesthetics and the name are a reference to an imaginary world that is conveyed through three varieties of old vines: Merseguera, Monastrell and Bobal. These textures are visually translated thanks to Manter Tintoretto Gesso Ultra WS, produced by Arconvert, a chlorine-free cellulose paper that is felt-marked on both sides. The bronze stamping over the black background provides the label with the intrinsic values of these wines: tradition, character and excellence.
Both La Casa de la Seda and Sericis represent the top of the Murviedro range, while Audentia, Pugnus and Galeam are positioned in the mid-range market segment with an equally meticulous image. In these cases, Bulldog Studio has used similar patterns in various colours applied over a white background, depending on the wine variety, as well as different techniques (stamping or silk-screen printing) according to the market segment to which they are targeted. This results in an extensive family of wines with diverse characters, identified with an authentic and elegant image.
