The visual communication studio Calcco has done a remarkable job for Mironia wines, the new addition to the main family of Bodegas Peñafiel (Designation of origin: Ribera del Duero). This time, for the Mironia Black Edition, they have chosen the captivating individuality of Manter Tintoretto Black Pepper, a natural paper produced by Arconvert made from pulp-coloured chlorine-free pure cellulose, with felt marking. The elegant design of the labels recreates the feeling of the advertisements featured in newspapers in the 1920s and is created through typographic work for the composition with the use of relief and gold stamping. All this is achieved by making the most of Manter Tintoretto Black Pepper, in the words of the designers, transforming the Mironia Black Edition into “the charming black sheep of the family”.
