Solabal and Manter Tintoretto Gesso, by Moruba

When Moruba’s studio in Logroño was assigned this project they thought that a powerful wine from La Rioja with a composition like Solabal Crianza deserved to showcase its brand on a self-adhesive paper such as Manter Tintoretto Gesso produced by Arconvert. Its felt texture provides the strength required to literally turn the origin of this wine’s origin, Ábalos in La Rioja Alta, around and transform it into Solabel. The graphic composition of the label presents a surreal concept that reflects an upside-down landscape, where the clouds form the base and the land and grapevines hang from the sky: it is a true declaration of principles.

Manter Tintoretto Gesso is the perfect support for the label of this wine that is traditionally made with one of the outstanding grape varieties from La Rioja, the Tempranillo grapes. These grapevines have grown for over thirty years on calcareous clay soil, creating a balanced wine with fruity and woody nuances.
