The creative design of Monica Ferretti from Intodesign for the three varieties of Etrurio oils, printed on Manter Tintoretto Gesso Greaseproof, shows us how simplicity is always a value per se when used well and in keeping with tradition.
A thick black line provides shape and brings life to the stylised illustrations that create and evoke the Etruscan origins of this olive oil; an authentic, exceptional product with ancestral origins. The innovative graphic composition is inspired by the Etruscan civilisation that once upon a time inhabited the lands of Tuscany where nowadays the Etrurio olive trees grow. Etruscans loved music and usually made it part of all their daily activities, including olive harvesting. Each Etrurio variety is associated with one of the paintings from the Tomb of the Leopards in Tarquinii.
The beautiful metalized details stamped directly onto the label offer us the possibility to feel these finishes with our fingertips; so full of subtlety, they enhance the elegance of the whole composition.
All the Etrurio labels are printed on Manter Tintoretto Gesso Greaseproof. A self-adhesive paper of remarkable quality produced by Arconvert. It stands out for its 100% greaseproof treatment, specifically designed to maintain the label’s flawless image, avoiding its deterioration when coming into contact with the oil.
The key factor in the beauty of this label series lies in its simplicity of forms, combined with the graphic elements included with very subtle, metalized finishes, such as the leaves or tunics of the people depicted. The result is a prestigious image for this exceptional product.
