The Cabernet Sauvignon Ballena Azul from the Chilean wine producer Sur Valles, won first prize in the category Top Ten Tinto Novo Mundo as “Best wine on the continent” at ExpoVinis Brasil 2016, the most important wine event in Latin America.

Ballena azul is without doubt an excellent wine that has already been awarded the Australis prize in 2015 for the design and print of its label. A brave design because if the complexity of its finishes.

The label is printed on Manter’s extraordinary Sirio Pearl Shiny Blue paper. Among the techniques featured on this label are: shiny silver stamping, metallic blue ink and a subtle varnish. Several sophisticated finishes that result in a spectacular and dazzling label.

Sur Valles has more than 50 years of experience in the wine industry as well as exporting products to the USA, China and UK. With more than 1000 hectares of managed vineyards, the grapes come from the central valleys of Colchagua, Curicó y Maule.
